Description
An informative and fun 90 minute spirits cruise for up to 24 guests along the Birmingham & Worcester canal taking in a variety of local landmarks. Guests receive an arrival cocktail followed by 4 themed spirit categories covering everything from gin, rum, tequila or Mezcal, bourbon or moonshine, aperitif & bubbles. Paired with matching nibbles and compared by the Midlands leading spirits raconteur The Gintleman showcasing a variety of his latest alter egos plus special guests 90s barging icons Rosie & Jim (Zer0% alcohol free flavour matched alternatives available on request prior)

What fun! If you’re wondering whether this is for you…it is. Carl is a lovely host, incredibly knowledgeable, passionate, and funny. The Narrowboat itself is bright and spacious, on an incredibly hot day it was still cool and shady. It’s a lovey journey to take around Birmingham as well, a very different perspective of the city that’s great for visitors or residents. But…you don’t really care about the trip..The gin! Well the gin is fantastic, clearly handpicked and well organised that the tastings feel like a journey. Well paired snacks were a pleasant surprise, alongside learning more about the history of gin, and the provenance of the gins supplied. The ability to ‘build your own’ and learn tips about garnishes was delivered in a very fun and interactive way.
I can’t recommend this enough, I will absolutely do this trip again and I think you should too.
